About the Artist
Born in Rome and raised in Palm Beach, Sara Lerner's lover affair with pottery began at age six and she graduated from the University of Miami with a BFA in Ceramics. Sara has taught in Palm Beach County and has been instrumental in the development of the ceramics program at the Armory Arts Center. Her work has been exhibited throughout Florida and internationally.
"Everything is intentionally different, made by my hands, and will vary slightly in shape and size. I feel privledged to create ceramic art and to be a part of peoples everyday lives. These pots are independent of me. They find their way into various peoples worlds, histories, locations. For this, I have deep gratitude to create objects that serve and are conduits between people."
