The exterior of this bowl is created in horizontal ridges that ripple and compress as they travel around — the kind of surface texture that reads differently from across a room than it does up close. Montes Doggett's Peruvian artisans shape each piece by hand, and on this bowl that process shows in the way the ridges shift and gather, never quite repeating.

Inside, the glaze pools to a smooth, bright white — a clean contrast to the sculptural exterior. At nearly 13 inches across, it holds its own as a centerpiece, filled or empty.
