Montes Doggett Vase #1

The No. 1 vase has a profile that reads well on a tabletop or shelf — a flared opening, a narrow base, and a signature white glaze. Montes Doggett's finish gives it just enough sheen to catch light without reading as high gloss.

Each piece is hand molded from fine-quality clay and high fired for strength, moving through a process that can take up to fifteen days. The work happens in a partner studio in Peru, where the artisans bring generations of experience to every stage — small variations in surface and form are the natural result of that process.

Short enough to sit on a bathroom counter or stack of books, wide enough to hold a generous bunch of stems. It looks right on its own and holds its own within a collection.
